This excursión can be combined with the visit to the National Park; since most of its route passes inside the park. The train departures from the “ Station of the train of the end of the world”,on the same embankment that the prisioners traveled 100 years ago.

It get inside the Cañadón del Toro, crossing a bridge over the river Pipo, where underneath can be observed the remains in Wood of the old bridge. It stops at the station “Cascada de Macarena” (Macarena waterfall) where you will get information regarding the way of life of the first inhabitants of this lands, the Yamana people.

At this stop is also possible to ascend to a viewpoint that offers a fabulous view of the valey of Pipo river and from where is possible to see the rising of Macarena  waterfall,  in Le Martial chain.

After 15 minutes the whistle of the guard will call the passengers to go back to the train and it will start  its march again to  ge t into the Subantarctic Forest.

Bordering the  Pipo River, the train continues through sectors that shows  the footprints that the prisioners left, in their daily routine cutting trees,  for half a century of uninterrupted work.

After bordering the Peat Bog, caracteristic environment of Tierra del Fuego, the train reaches the “Estación del Parque” where the passengers will meet whith their guides and vehicles to continue the tour by the National Park.
